Prenatal Fatherhood a strong predictor of continued male involvement

The December 2008 Journal of Marriage and Family released a study that shows that fathers who are involved in their unborn child’s prenatal care are more likely to stick around after the child is born. This seems to be the strongest predictor of a bond forming between the father and the child. In fact, according to researchers this is more of a predictor than whether or not the parents are married.
